Job Description
Provides UNITAR’s Finance and Budget Section with financial-processing, analysis and travel-management capacity in Geneva. The individual contractor processes payments and ERP transactions, reconciles records and travel claims, supports audits and donor reporting, monitors project budgets and funding, and trains programme staff on ERP use to maintain accurate, compliant financial operations.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Process payment requests and record ERP obligations
- Reconcile travel credit cards and prepare financial-report data
- Support audits through supporting documents and exception reports
- Review travel authorisations and process tickets and travel claims
- Prepare project budgets and monitor funding and expenditure
- Train programme staff on ERP use and support system testing
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance or a related area
- At least two years of financial-accounting and budgeting experience
- Knowledge of IPSAS and ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP
- Advanced Excel skills and fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- CPA, CA or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of another UN official language
