Supports OHCHR Yemen to monitor, document and report human-rights violations, with a lead focus on minority rights and human rights in humanitarian action. The volunteer contributes to protection-cluster coordination, civilian-casualty analysis, technical assistance and capacity building, while producing reports, briefings, presentations and data that strengthen protection of human rights.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor, document and report human-rights violations
- Lead country-office work on the rights of minorities
- Support human rights in humanitarian action and Protection Cluster coordination
- Contribute to civilian-casualty monitoring and analysis
- Draft reports, briefing notes, background papers and meeting materials
- Organize capacity-building workshops, seminars and technical assistance
- Conduct field visits and support basic data management
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human rights, law, political science, development, economics or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in human rights, protection, monitoring, documentation, research or reporting
