Job Description
The Human Resources Officer supports UNICEF's Payroll and Offboarding Section in Budapest by coordinating priorities, project updates and decision-support materials. The assignment maintains the section's knowledge base, SharePoint content and process documentation, tracks follow-up actions and reviews, and develops accessible guidance and learning resources to improve global HR service delivery.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support the Section Chief with priority-setting, information flow and follow-up actions
- Prepare briefings, presentations, research and meeting materials
- Coordinate inputs for position papers, efficiency reports and project updates
- Monitor project activities and periodic reviews across workstreams
- Maintain SharePoint content, SOPs, guidance notes, templates and process documents
- Identify knowledge gaps and document process or policy changes
- Develop user-friendly guides, process maps and training resources
- Review knowledge materials and promote continuous improvement
Role Requirements
- Two years of professional experience in human-resources management, planning and monitoring, knowledge management or communications in an international organisation or large corporation
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, database management, SharePoint and webpage management
- Strong drafting, reporting and document-editing skills
Desired Criteria
- Experience in project management, knowledge management, marketing or web design
- Knowledge of another official UN language
