Job Description
Lead WHO's coordinated national health-sector response in Myanmar, working with national and international partners to protect vulnerable populations during emergencies. The coordinator directs response planning, monitoring, quality assurance and reporting, strengthens preparedness and health-system capacity, leads information-management operations and advances advocacy and resource mobilisation efforts.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead a coordinated national health-sector response with partners

- Advance advocacy and resource mobilisation for the health response
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in epidemiology, public health, medicine or a directly related field
- At least ten years of relevant emergency and humanitarian-relief experience with substantial international experience
- At least three years of health-programme management and coordination experience in emergencies
- Expert knowledge of English
Desired Criteria
- Specialised training in emergency management, international aid, humanitarian response, health-system recovery or health-cluster coordination
- Relevant WHO, UN-agency, health-cluster, humanitarian-organisation or health-research experience
