Job Description
The Health Manager leads management of the Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health portfolio within the country programme. Reporting to the Chief of Health and HIV, the role combines technical guidance and operational support to plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and report results, strengthening sustainable health programming through evidence, partnerships and capacity building.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage the maternal, neonatal, child and adolescent health portfolio
- Lead implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of programme outputs
- Support programme development and planning
- Provide advisory services and technical support
- Build advocacy, networking and partnerships
- Strengthen innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in a listed health or related technical field
- At least eight years' professional experience in public health planning and management, maternal and neonatal health, communicable diseases or humanitarian preparedness
- Experience in monitoring, evaluation, strategic planning, advocacy, programme management and partnership building
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience working in a global health initiative
- Executive education in management, innovation or gender
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organisation
- Country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
