Head of Finance & Management Services OfficerNew

The Head of Finance and Management Services will steward WFP resources and lead finance, risk and enabling-service functions for the Liberia Country Office. The role advises senior management on financial viability and operational risk, strengthens controls and compliance, directs budgeting and management services, and ensures efficient, transparent support for humanitarian assistance and country operations.

• Set the integrated workplan and priorities for finance, management services and risk functions
• Lead budgeting, accounting, cash management, financial reporting and resource-management operations
• Advise senior management on fund management, financial viability, cost efficiency and operational risks
• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, pipeline analysis and funding-gap reporting
• Coordinate financial controls, risk assessments, audit preparation and mitigation actions
• Direct facilities, assets, fleet, travel, administration and business-support services
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team and represent the Country Office with external counterparts

• Advanced university degree in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, audit, risk management, international development or a related field
• First university degree with additional related work experience and or training courses may be accepted
• Fluency in English

• Membership in an internationally recognized professional accountancy body such as ACCA, ICPA or CPA
