Head, Jobs, Growth and Structural Transformation

The Head, Jobs, Growth and Structural Transformation leads UNDP policy on inclusive growth, livelihoods and economic transformation from Madrid. The role directs policy support, develops tools and diagnostics, leads teams and partnerships, represents UNDP in forums, and advances solutions on jobs, MSMEs, skills, value chains, sustainable finance and structural transformation.

• Lead global policy leadership on jobs and growth
• Provide technical advice to country and regional offices
• Develop policy tools, diagnostics and knowledge products
• Lead teams and coordinate communities of practice
• Represent UNDP in policy dialogues and partnerships
• Mobilize resources and promote South-South cooperation

• Advanced university degree in Economics, Development Economics, Statistics, Business or Public Administration, Public Finance, Finance or related field
• At least 10 years of relevant experience with a master's degree or 12 with a bachelor's degree
• High-level policy and programme advice on jobs, livelihoods, growth, labour markets or private-sector development
• Experience in national development planning, employment strategies, growth diagnostics or labour-market analysis
• Fluency in English
