Supports UNDP's Disaster Risk Reduction and Recovery for Building Resilience Team on risk intelligence, digital innovation and preparedness learning. The intern researches AI-enabled disaster-risk applications, develops knowledge and communication products, helps maintain learning resources and supports webinars, partnerships and global early-warning activities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Research digital and AI-enabled applications for disaster risk reduction
- Develop knowledge products, policy briefs and communication materials on risk intelligence
- Map innovative practices from country offices, regional hubs and partners
- Support strategic partnerships with technical institutions, technology providers and academia
- Maintain preparedness-learning resources and online repositories
- Develop thematic modules and a self-paced preparedness course
- Organize webinars, facilitation materials and webinar reports
- Prepare presentations and briefing materials for global early-warning activities
Role Requirements
- Be enrolled in a qualifying postgraduate, final-year first-degree or postgraduate traineeship programme, or have recently graduated and start within one year of graduation
- Fluency in spoken and written English
