Job Description
WIPO seeks a Director in Geneva to lead the Innovation Impact Division’s technology-transfer, IP analytics and commercialization portfolio. The Director will set strategic direction, coordinate programs with Department and Organization priorities, manage staff and resources, mentor a multidisciplinary team, engage Member States and senior stakeholders, oversee partnerships and cooperation,.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Set strategic direction for technology transfer, IP analytics and commercialization
- Coordinate Division programs with Department and Organization priorities
- Manage human and financial resources for timely quality delivery
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team
- Engage Member States and represent WIPO in high-level negotiations
- Oversee partnerships and expand service impact and reach
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in management, business administration, political science, international relations, law, science, engineering or related field
- At least fifteen years intellectual-property or innovation experience including seven years senior management
- Excellent written and spoken English
Desired Criteria
- Intellectual-property specialization
- Knowledge of other official UN languages
- Member-State engagement experience
