Job Description
Supports UNICEF Morocco's Representative in managing the Country Office and delivering its programme with accountability and quality control. The Deputy Representative coordinates programme planning and partnerships while advancing policy analysis, system strengthening and principled humanitarian action for children, including UNICEF's cluster leadership responsibilities when activated.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support the Representative in managing the Country Office
- Coordinate programme sections through planning and delivery of results
- Monitor programme quality and accountability
- Lead partnerships with public and private-sector actors
- Ensure timely and principled humanitarian action in fragile contexts
- Ensure UNICEF cluster-lead-agency responsibilities are fulfilled when clusters are activated
- Advance innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in social sciences, international relations, public relations, public policy, sociology, social development or a relevant technical field
- At least eight years of international development experience combining technical and managerial leadership
- Strategic-partnership and policy-analysis experience related to system strengthening
- Fluency in French and English
Desired Criteria
- United Nations system experience
- Technical expertise in social protection
- Country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
- Knowledge of Arabic
