Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate, implement and monitor the THEMIS Global Programme
- Strengthen international judicial cooperation and criminal justice responses
- Provide technical assistance on mutual legal assistance and extradition
- Design capacity building, judicial dialogues and technical workshops
- Develop partnerships with governments, justice institutions and donors
- Collect and analyse data for programme planning and reporting
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in International Law
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience as a judge, prosecutor, lawyer or legal expert
- Technical assistance in international judicial cooperation in criminal matters
- English and French fluency
Desired Criteria
- Cooperation with European criminal-justice agencies
- Experience in diverse legal systems
- Russian language
