Job Description
Prepares daily meals for unaccompanied migrant children at an IOM accommodation centre in Athens, supporting safe, reliable and cost-effective food services. The role maintains kitchen hygiene and equipment, tracks supplies and shortages, follows food-safety procedures, coordinates meal planning with shelter teams, and trains beneficiaries in meal preparation while working weekend and holiday morning shifts.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Supervise kitchen cleanliness and equipment
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks twice daily
- Record food supplies and shortages and report them to the Shelter Coordinator
- Ensure compliance with food-safety handling and personal-hygiene procedures
- Coordinate meal-planning needs with shelter teams
- Train beneficiaries in meal preparation
Role Requirements
- Certificate of relevant professional experience or certified training
- Valid health certificate and successful food-handler examinations
- Fluency in Greek
