Consultant to Conduct CRISP Study in ThailandNew

ESCAP seeks a consultant to conduct Thailand's Climate-Resilient and Inclusive Social Protection study under the CRISP initiative. Based in Bangkok and/or remotely, the consultant will assess climate vulnerabilities and social-protection systems, produce country knowledge products, facilitate validation events and develop practical reform pathways that support national decision-making and regional learning.

• Prepare country-specific CRISP knowledge products for Thailand
• Assess climate vulnerabilities and social-protection system performance
• Prepare a country mapping study and analytical country assessment
• Support a national workshop and consultation to validate findings
• Develop policy and programme pathways for climate-responsive social protection
• Prepare event agendas, presentations and meeting reports
• Engage government focal points and integrate consultation inputs

• Graduate degree in economics, social development, social administration, labour studies or a related field, or equivalent 5 years of work experience in social protection or development
• Demonstrated experience in research, data analysis and coordination
• Professional experience in social protection
• Experience working with government counterparts
• Excellent English speaking and drafting skills

• Experience with Thailand's social-protection system
