Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver two workshops for trafficking in persons coordination committees
  • Design and deliver six service-sector trainings on child protection, victim interviewing, return counselling and case management
  • Prepare methodology, agendas, participant manuals, presentation materials, exercises and assessment tools
  • Use IOM official toolkits and guidelines in training content and exercises
  • Submit training packages, assessment data, attendance and feedback summaries
  • Prepare a final report with knowledge-gain analysis, findings, challenges and recommendations

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in capacity-building and training delivery related to trafficking in persons, smuggling of migrants, protection or migration management
  • Experience delivering trainings based on IOM's Return Counseling Toolkit and IOM's Case Management Guidelines
  • Experience working with government coordination mechanisms
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistan's trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants legal frameworks
  • Ability to deliver content in both English and Urdu

Additional info

  • Consultancy contract up to 11 months with an initial duration of 10 months
  • Payments are linked to three deliverables at 30 percent, 40 percent and 30 percent of contract value
  • IOM occupational accident and illness coverage applies, but consultants must provide their own medical insurance
  • Appointment is subject to funding confirmation, medical fitness, residency or visa requirements and security clearances
