Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate construction and rehabilitation works
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly construction-progress reports
- Control construction work against tender documents, plans and specifications
- Receive and inspect equipment, aggregates and materials before use
- Receive completed works and verify execution against construction plans
- Monitor environmental and social safeguard measures
- Maintain construction activity records and monitoring files
Role Requirements
- University degree in engineering, architecture or similar from a recognised institution
- At least four years of professional experience supervising public works and construction
- Knowledge of French
Desired Criteria
- Experience with local construction companies
- Experience with UN agencies or international NGOs
- Knowledge of English
