Leads MSF’s Climate, Environment and Health programme engagement by coordinating internal positioning, advocacy preparation and communication across operational directorates, platforms and the International Office. Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate the CEH Intersectional Advocacy and Positioning Group, including meetings, workplans, decisions and follow-up actions
- Map and engage MSF sections, operational directorates, platforms and field structures to build alignment on CEH and Programme of Engagement dossiers
- Design and facilitate consultations that gather input, identify convergence or divergence and escalate unresolved issues to decision-making bodies
- Coordinate position papers, key messages, briefing notes and advocacy materials informed by operational realities
- Prepare MSF engagement in international advocacy fora, including UNFCCC and other global policy spaces
- Develop internal communication plans, briefings, presentations, webinars and engagement materials for different MSF audiences
- Curate CEH resources, tools, documents and lessons learned while facilitating learning and capacity-building initiatives
- Coordinate administrative follow-up, events, deadlines, required inputs and actions for CEH processes and advocacy participation
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field such as international law or human rights, or a bachelor’s degree combined with significant relevant advocacy and representation experience
- Three to five years of work experience at MSF
- At least three years’ experience in advocacy representation
- Knowledge of the humanitarian sector and humanitarian climate and environment dossiers
- Writing and presentation skills
- Fluent English
