Job Description
Leads ITC’s Institutions and Ecosystems Section in Geneva, strengthening business-support organisations and trade ecosystems. The chief directs staff, budgets and performance; develops partnerships; represents ITC externally; provides capacity building and advisory services; oversees assessment tools; and advances evidence-based support for SME competitiveness and inclusive economic pathways.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the DECI/IE team on business support organization capacity and services
- Oversee section budgets, performance indicators, reporting and staff performance
- Develop strategic alliances with public and private sector partners, donors and technical agencies
- Represent ITC in inter-agency, international, regional and national meetings
- Provide capacity-building and advisory programmes to business support organization networks
- Oversee design and delivery of assessment tools, training and ecosystem services
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, International Development, Economics, Organizational Development or a related subject, or a first-level degree with two additional years of relevant experience
- At least ten years of relevant professional experience, or twelve years with a first-level university degree
- Senior management and advisory experience in a proven leadership role with recognized trade, investment or business support organizations including TVETs
- High-level organizational representation experience
- Experience providing advice and capacity building for business support organizations across countries and cultural backgrounds
- Experience designing and leading complex projects or programmes and managing a cross-cultural team
- English is required
Desired Criteria
- Experience with change management processes including integration of digital technology and AI is desirable
