Trade Promotion Intern

The International Trade Centre seeks a Trade Promotion Intern to support its China International Import Expo work. Home-based in Shanghai, the intern will help participating micro, small and medium enterprises with pre-event registration, collect and translate materials, assist meetings, training and events, and collaborate with the project team to deliver trade-promotion activities.

• Provide pre-event support to participating MSMEs, including WeChat and exhibition registration
• Collect, organize and translate relevant materials
• Assist project activities including meetings, trainings and events
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth implementation of project activities

• Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme, enrolled in a graduate programme, or have graduated within one year of internship commencement
• Study Economics, International Trade, International Development, Business Administration or a related field
• Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite
• Advanced knowledge of English

• Prior study or work experience in international trade is an asset
• Knowledge of AI tools is an asset
