Job Description
NATO DIANA seeks a Business Analyst in Halifax to optimise business processes and lead requirements analysis for digital systems. The role translates needs into user stories and specifications, coordinates delivery and adoption, supports configuration, migration and testing, and develops analytics for organisational decision-making. It works with stakeholders, teams and technology partners.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Analyse and optimise business processes across DIANA functions
- Lead the business-analysis workstream for DIANA OS and govern requirements
- Elicit, document, validate and manage business requirements and user stories
- Coordinate requirements management and stakeholder engagement between business and technical teams
- Support change management, training, user guidance and adoption of new systems
- Support configuration, data migration, testing and functional documentation
- Develop reports, dashboards and analytics for business insight and decision-making
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, information systems or a related discipline and at least 2 years of relevant business-analysis experience, or 6 years of progressive professional experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience supporting enterprise business applications and SaaS platforms
- Experience with business-systems or ERP delivery, requirements management and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with system configuration, data migration, testing and Agile delivery methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in one of English or French and beginner proficiency in the other
- Nationality of a NATO member country
- Residence in the host nation for the duration of the contract
Desired Criteria
- Experience in a government, defence or international-organisation context
- Relevant Dynamics 365, Power Platform or business-analysis certification
- Familiarity with DIANA’s SaaS estate
- Knowledge of NATO institutional framework, policies and procedures
