Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support processing, implementation, administration and self-assessment of investment and technical assistance projects
  • Monitor assigned projects and prepare performance reports, forecasts and corrective measures
  • Review procurement documents and prepare project administration documents
  • Contribute to portfolio analysis, reviews, reports and project performance metrics
  • Support dialogue with government officials, private sector, civil society and development partners
  • Organise and contribute to meetings, seminars, workshops and knowledge-sharing activities
  • Prepare sector research, briefing materials and background papers
  • Mentor and support junior team members

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in finance, business administration, public administration, education, public health or a related field
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in ADB project management and implementation, preferably in the human and social development sector
  • Strong analytical ability to conduct research and analysis, organise information and draft documents
  • Sound knowledge of government administrative systems and procedures
  • Familiarity with accepted procurement and disbursement best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Nationality of an ADB member country

Desired Criteria

  • Advanced training is preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of project planning, feasibility analysis, detailed design, implementation, construction supervision or contract management is desirable
