Job Description
Provides operational support to UNDP Brazil's Montreal Protocol project portfolio. The assistant supports procurement, contracts, budgeting, travel, events, reporting and records-management work in line with UNDP procedures. The role helps project monitoring, partner coordination and knowledge sharing while maintaining financial and administrative information for environmental programme delivery.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support procurement, contracting and supplier-selection processes in line with UNDP rules
- Use Quantum and CBO for requisitions, purchase orders and payments and monitor contract performance
- Support budget preparation, financial reviews and analysis of project execution data
- Process travel requests, tickets, per diems and expense settlements and coordinate accommodation and transport
- Organise internal and external meetings, workshops, seminars and training events
- Track project activities, milestones and progress reports with technical and institutional partners
- Maintain workplans, schedules, meeting records and physical and digital project files
- Systematise lessons learned and support knowledge-sharing networks for projects and partners
Role Requirements
- High school diploma
- Four years of relevant experience in technical-cooperation project management with high school education, or one year with higher education
- Experience using information technologies and digital tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience supporting logistics for meetings, seminars, training, technical events and workshops
- Fluency in Portuguese
Desired Criteria
- Experience implementing projects in environment, climate change or Montreal Protocol areas
- Experience monitoring contracts, projects or agreements and preparing associated documentation
- Experience organising and systematising information and producing project-management reports
- Experience using Quantum for administrative, financial and procurement processes
- CIPS or United Nations Procurement certification at Level 1 or above
