Job Description

Supports IOM Italy’s Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration programme by helping teams deliver counselling, departure and reintegration activities. The internship builds familiarity with AVRR workflows through case documentation, databases, travel arrangements, records and reporting, while providing administrative support for beneficiaries and materials across programme components.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support counselling activities by collecting, organising and updating case information
  • Prepare programme documents, statistics, data extracts, reports and briefing materials
  • Support departure documentation and logistical arrangements for beneficiaries
  • Organise reintegration-assistance documentation and compile related data and statistics
  • Provide operational and administrative support to the AVRR team
  • Prepare background and programme materials for relevant meetings

Role Requirements

  • Current final-year enrolment in a first university degree programme or graduation within the last 12 months
  • Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English

Desired Criteria

  • Academic background in migration, social affairs, international cooperation or public administration is an advantage
  • Previous migration, social-inclusion or community experience is an advantage
