Job Description
Ensures timely, cost-effective logistics and fleet services for IFRC operations in Mali, including procurement, shipment clearance, vehicle safety and stock control. The assistant maintains auditable records, transport planning and reporting, supports National Society personnel and can deploy rapidly to strengthen emergency operations in line with IFRC procedures.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Process procurement requests and verify compliance with IFRC procedures
- Coordinate deliveries, transport, customs clearance and shipping formalities
- Maintain vehicle safety systems, driver logbooks and fuel-consumption reporting
- Plan delegation transport and manage Fleet Wave vehicle utilisation
- Maintain auditable logistics, invoice, donation and shipment records
- Conduct stock inventories and maintain stock documentation
- Train National Society personnel and provide emergency logistics support
Role Requirements
- Degree in logistics, procurement or supply-chain management, or relevant certification
- 4 years of relevant complex logistics-operations experience
- Fluent written and spoken French
- Good command of English
Desired Criteria
- Experience organising training and developing training materials
- Knowledge of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
