Job Description
Maintain complete and reliable fixed-asset inventory records for WHO offices in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The assistant registers new assets in GSM, verifies inventory data, conducts physical inventories, tracks procurement and asset movements, coordinates deliveries and recoveries, prepares disposal lists and submits inventory reports to the regional office.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Register newly acquired fixed assets and update GSM records
- Maintain and verify the accuracy of the inventory database
- Conduct physical inventories in country and sub-offices
- Track purchase orders, receive assets and verify conformity
- Monitor asset movements, deliveries and recovery from departing staff
- Prepare disposal lists and inventory reports for the regional office
Role Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of professional experience
- Advanced French
Desired Criteria
- Training in information technology, inventory management or a related field
- Experience in a similar role with an international organisation or UN system
