Responsibilities
- Develop and implement WHO global security strategy
- Analyse threats and establish risk-mitigation measures
- Direct security policy, training and high-risk operations
- Coordinate access and security with UN and host-country partners
- Manage security personnel, budgets and emergency support
- Oversee assessments, investigations and senior-level briefings
Requirements
- Advanced degree in security management, law, disaster management or a related field
- At least fifteen years of progressively responsible security or disaster-risk experience
- Experience managing complex programmes across several geographic regions
- Experience in crisis or post-conflict countries
- Expert English and intermediate French
- Availability to provide emergency security advice around the clock
