Director, Country Office

UNOPS Country Office Director and Representative leading the Myanmar portfolio, workforce, finances, operational risk and service quality, developing partnerships and new engagements, representing UNOPS in the UN Country Team and ensuring sustainable delivery across humanitarian and development programmes.

Department: Myanmar Country Office

• Set Country Office strategy, priorities, annual objectives and performance targets
• Lead and develop a diverse workforce and an accountable organisational culture
• Oversee portfolio delivery, operational risk, resources and financial sustainability
• Build partnerships and identify new project-service and engagement opportunities
• Assure timely, cost-effective delivery and compliance with quality standards
• Represent UNOPS in the UN Country Team and external coordination bodies
• Champion security, risk management, innovation and organisational learning

• Master's degree in any discipline with at least ten years of relevant experience, or bachelor's degree with at least twelve years
• Strategic and managerial leadership experience in public affairs, management, business-development planning, operations or a related area
• Fluency in English
