School Principal

Lead an UNRWA school in Nablus, managing teachers, professional development, inclusive learning, assessment, safeguarding, parent engagement, budgets, pupil records and education data while building a safe school environment for Palestine refugee students.

Department: Education Programme, West Bank

• Lead teacher development and manage staff performance
• Deliver inclusive quality education under UNRWA policies
• Engage parents and communities in school monitoring
• Manage pupil registration, records, education data and school budgets
• Maintain a safe, secure and inclusive learning environment
• Oversee pupil assessment and school improvement

• University degree in a school subject plus professional teacher training or advanced education qualification
• At least 7 years of satisfactory teaching experience
• English at UN Level II and Arabic at UN Level III
• Residence and work authorisation in the West Bank or Jerusalem

• Twelve fixed-term vacancies
• Monthly basic salary is USD 1,592.60 payable in Jordanian dinars
• A roster may be created for future similar appointments
