Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational functions of the regional emergency operations centre
- Maintain HEOC infrastructure, plans, procedures, datasets and information products
- Activate regional emergency coordination and incident-management support
- Help country offices and member states establish or activate HEOCs
- Document emergency response activities and maintain regional communications
- Develop and deliver HEOC capacity-building activities
- Backstop initial emergency response for the operations team
Requirements
- University degree in health sciences, public health, medicine or social sciences
- At least 5 years of relevant experience including international experience
- Experience in public health, coordination or health emergency management
- Expert knowledge of English
