Responsibilities

  • Assess staff training needs and lead school-based professional development
  • Supervise teaching staff and manage professional performance
  • Manage delivery of inclusive education for all students
  • Engage parents and communities in monitoring educational quality
  • Oversee pupil registration, records and education data entry
  • Manage school budgets, finances and resources under UNRWA procedures
  • Maintain an inclusive, safe and effective learning environment
  • Lead pupil assessment and school monitoring practices

Requirements

  • University degree in a school-related subject plus professional teacher training, or a university degree plus a higher diploma or advanced degree in education
  • At least seven years of progressively responsible satisfactory teaching experience
  • UN Language Framework Level II English and Level I Arabic across reading, writing, listening and speaking
  • Current UNRWA internal candidate status
  • Residence in the West Bank or Jerusalem within commuting distance and authorisation to work
