Responsibilities
- Direct integrated logistics, technical and operational support services across the mission
- Plan resources and service delivery for civilian, military and police components
- Manage multidisciplinary personnel, section chiefs, assets and contractual services
- Develop work plans, procedures and performance indicators for client services
- Coordinate mission headquarters, sectors, field offices and United Nations service centres
- Oversee budgets, performance reporting and responses to audit observations
- Advise mission leadership on support structures, staffing and operational requirements
- Deputise for the Director of Mission Support when required
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business administration, engineering, logistics, medicine, information technology or a related field, or the stated first-degree alternative with qualifying experience
- At least fifteen years of progressively responsible experience across at least three technical or logistical service-delivery areas
- At least five years of service-delivery management experience
- At least two years managing logistics service-delivery operations in an international environment
- English at UN Level III
