Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated supply chain and service-delivery plans, forecasts and priorities
- Coordinate mission supply chain strategies and consolidate required human and financial resources
- Optimise critical supply chain processes, resolve bottlenecks and establish performance indicators
- Exercise managerial control over logistics, technical and operational support services
- Allocate budgets, personnel and assets across mission components and reprioritise resources when required
- Set supply chain policies, standards and controls for budgeting, accounting, procurement and asset management
- Advise mission leadership and coordinate support with headquarters, service centres and civilian, police and military components
- Lead senior staff performance, training, welfare, discipline and operational accountability
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in supply chain management, business administration, management or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- Ten years of progressively responsible experience across at least three supply chain areas
- Four years of supply chain management experience including two years managing international supply chain operations
- Experience managing complex supply chain operations in a conflict or post-conflict environment with scarce resources
- Experience planning, deploying or sustaining field operations
- English at UN Level II in reading, writing, listening and speaking
