Country Lead, South Africa

Lead the Education Outcomes Fund’s South Africa portfolio from Pretoria, overseeing the $30 million early-childhood outcomes fund, managing government, donor and delivery partnerships, directing evaluation and budgets, and turning programme evidence into sustainable public policy and scale-up.

• Lead national delivery of the early-childhood outcomes fund
• Manage relationships with government, donors, investors and implementing partners
• Facilitate governance, planning and capacity-strengthening forums
• Oversee programme evaluation, budget performance and financial reporting
• Maintain safeguarding standards and resolve implementation risks
• Direct site visits, annual reporting and evidence uptake
• Develop sustainability, policy-integration and scale-up plans
• Lead the South Africa team and national advocacy

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience or master's degree with 7 years
• Experience leading programmes in South Africa
• Direct experience working with the Government of South Africa
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple stakeholders
• Fluency in English
