Responsibilities
- Define and communicate OSPF strategy, goals and work plans
- Lead complaint eligibility assessment and problem-solving consultations
- Recommend flexible approaches to resolve grievances and report outcomes
- Oversee implementation of agreed actions and improve complaint methodologies
- Design outreach for executing agencies, civil society and ADB staff
- Coordinate information sharing with the Office of the Compliance Review Panel
- Manage office operations, budget, resources and staff performance
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in economics, environment, law, social sciences or related fields, or a university degree with at least 10 years specialised experience
- At least 20 years of relevant experience with developing member countries in social sectors, infrastructure, power or private sector work
- Ability to deal thoroughly and fairly with complaints
- Integrity and independence from ADB operations departments
- Ability and willingness to travel to developing countries including rural areas
- International development experience in several countries

Additional info
- Candidate must not have worked in any ADB operations department for at least five years before appointment
- Appointment term is up to three years and may be renewed once for another two years
