Responsibilities
- Lead the Corporate Management Division work programme and strategy
- Coordinate administrative, operational and programme-support services
- Oversee organisational budgets, financial planning and performance reporting
- Direct human-resources planning, policy implementation and staff development
- Manage corporate risk, internal controls and oversight recommendations
- Support regional and country offices and supervise third-party services
- Represent UN-Habitat before governing, budgetary and UN system bodies
- Drive business transformation, accountability and data-informed decisions
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in a relevant field or a first degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least fifteen years of progressively responsible management experience
- At least seven years leading substantive work units and diverse teams
- At least five years of risk-management and internal-control experience
- At least five years of human-resources management in a large international organisation
- Experience preparing and defending budgetary and financial reports before governing bodies
- English proficiency at UN Level II in reading, writing, listening and speaking
