Job Description
UN Women Mexico seeks two online volunteers to monitor media and official sources, classify relevant news, and maintain a daily information digest across morning and afternoon shifts. Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor media outlets and official sources
- Identify, collect, and classify news relevant to UN Women
- Prepare and update the daily information digest
- Draft and review institutional texts
- Organize and send inputs for communication content
- Research information and perform basic fact and source checks
Role Requirements
- Training or interest in communications, journalism, social sciences, or related fields
- Strong writing, spelling, synthesis, and analytical ability
- Ability to identify relevant information, verify sources, and summarize content without altering its meaning
- Ability to use word processors, collaborative tools, and internet research
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of gender equality and the United Nations system is desirable
- Experience in media monitoring and digital-content creation is desirable
