Job Description
Provides simultaneous Spanish-to-Argentine Sign Language interpretation for the virtual Unstereotype Alliance Summit LATAM 2026. Four online volunteers rotate through panels during the four-hour live-streamed event, join advance coordination meetings, adapt to spontaneous interventions and schedule changes, and ensure accessible participation for deaf sign-language users in a regional dialogue.

- Interpret simultaneously during the main Unstereotype Alliance Summit LATAM 2026 event
- Rotate across panels with other volunteer interpreters
- Join one or two virtual preparation meetings before the event
- Coordinate panel distribution and other arrangements for continuous accessible interpretation
- Adapt interpretation to agenda, content and event-dynamic changes
Role Requirements
- Demonstrable professional experience interpreting simultaneously from Spanish to Argentine Sign Language
- Spanish proficiency
- Ability to interpret fluently and accurately varied content and spontaneous interventions
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other interpreters while respecting agreed shifts
Desired Criteria
- Experience at events, conferences or live transmissions, preferably virtual
