Translate Subtitles for WFF Youth Film Festival into Laotian

Supports FAO’s Youth Film Festival by translating and localising subtitles and toolkit material into Laotian. Online volunteers make films and impact-screening resources accessible to youth, community organisations and educational institutions; translate and review subtitle files; adapt terminology; conduct peer quality assurance; and support engagement on agrifood systems and gender equality.

• Translate subtitle files from English into Laotian
• Review translations for accuracy, readability and cultural relevance
• Adapt terminology and expressions while preserving meaning and intent
• Support peer quality assurance and feedback exchanges
• Contribute to translation of film-screening toolkits and guidance materials

• Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency
• Advanced or native proficiency in writing and translating English to Laotian

• Active membership in an FAO national Youth chapter should be indicated in the motivational statement
