Job Description
This remote consultancy strengthens capacity to produce and use gender statistics across Latin America and the Caribbean. The consultant develops course and workshop content on care economics, supports online learning and expert exchanges, and maps artificial-intelligence opportunities and risks in care measurement to inform training, official statistics and evidence-based policy dialogue.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop, adapt and update technical and pedagogical content for a virtual module on care-investment costs and returns
- Adapt Gender Affairs Division content for a regional asynchronous self-learning course on gender statistics
- Support course preparation and implementation, including uploading and reviewing Spanish and English content
- Design and implement course-evaluation mechanisms
- Coordinate course-content peer review with United Nations agencies and other counterparts
- Develop methodology and support a Colombian workshop on the National Time Use Survey
- Prepare regional exchanges on time-use surveys and an expert meeting on Sustainable Development Goal indicator 5.4.1
- Map artificial-intelligence uses, potential and risks in care measurement and document workshop results with recommendations
Role Requirements
- University degree in social sciences, political science, economics or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in matters related to Colombia's National Statistical System
- Spanish proficiency
