Job Description

Builds data capability for Brazil’s Justiça 4.0 programme, improving the quality, accessibility and use of judicial data. The analyst engineers and analyzes large process-data sets, develops diagnostics, dashboards and predictive models, and works with CNJ and UNDP teams to turn reliable evidence into better judicial management, transparency and technology transfer.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean and process large volumes of data from CNJ data sources
  • Structure data sources to ensure consistency across judicial datasets
  • Identify anomalies and data-quality failures and implement corrective routines
  • Produce statistical reports, panels and dashboards using charts, tables and maps
  • Develop predictive and classification models to inform decision-making
  • Support CNJ and UNDP focal points with project implementation and validate project tools and systems
  • Systematize methods that transfer technology and knowledge to CNJ

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, software engineering, information science or a related field; a bachelor’s degree in these fields with two additional years of qualifying experience may be considered
  • At least two years of experience in extracting, processing, structuring and analyzing data with a bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in Portuguese
