The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) is one of the UN’s four major duty stations and the only UN headquarters in Africa and the Global South. Established in 1996, it represents the Secretary-General in Kenya and provides administrative, conference, operational, safety and security services to UNEP, UN-Habitat and other UN entities in Nairobi. 3Create an Inspira account and complete My Profile

New external applicants must create an account, then complete the mandatory fields in **My Profile** before an application can be submitted. Keep the primary email address, telephone number and other contact information accurate, as recruitment communication is linked to that profile.
4Build a complete, role-specific Inspira application
Complete the online application with your education, employment history, skills, competencies and achievements, then write the required motivation statement for that particular UNON role. The UN describes the Inspira application as an extended online résumé used to assess eligibility and suitability. A separate résumé does not replace or supplement the completed online application unless the vacancy specifically requests a document.
