Job Description
Manages the daily receipt, storage and dispatch of UNICEF supplies in Addis Ababa while maintaining safe product-specific storage and cargo-handling conditions. The role supports accurate inventory control, physical stock counts, dispatch documentation and delivery to implementing partners and field offices, keeping warehouse operations reliable and responsive.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, stack and store UNICEF supplies using warehouse procedures and FIFO/FEFO principles
- Receive, pick, put away and create supply waybills in VISION
- Update VISION inventory records and bin cards to maintain stock accuracy
- Conduct physical stock counts and report discrepancies, damage and near-expiry items
- Pick, pack, load and dispatch supplies to implementing partners and field offices
- Prepare dispatch documentation, gatepasses and waybills while arranging transport
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, equipment and storage areas
Role Requirements
- Completion of Secondary Education
- At least three years of relevant professional experience in operations and supply chain functions
- Experience in supply management, contracting, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, distribution, materials handling, stock control, transportation coordination, document control or emergency response
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience in FIFO and FEFO inventory practices, ERP and VISION systems, warehouse safety procedures, stock reconciliation and dispatch documentation
- Relevant country-level experience, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts
