Job Description

Supports UNICEF Türkiye’s supply-management operations by coordinating planning, procurement, contracting, in-country logistics and inventory management. The associate helps strengthen supply chains, delivery mechanisms and emergency preparedness, while supporting partnerships, data and reporting, customs processes and supply-financing activities that enable timely services for children.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support supply planning
  • Support procurement and contracting activities
  • Coordinate in-country logistics
  • Support warehousing and inventory management
  • Contribute to partnerships, coordination and collaboration
  • Strengthen national and government supply chains
  • Support alternative delivery mechanisms, procurement services and supply financing
  • Contribute to emergency preparedness, data management and reporting

Role Requirements

  • Secondary Education in a related field
  • At least six years of relevant experience in supply management, contracting, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, customs clearance, supply-chain planning, data analysis or emergency logistics
  • Fluency in English

Desired Criteria

  • Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language
  • SAP knowledge
  • Experience in customs clearance or emergency logistics
  • Supply-chain courses
  • Country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
