Job Description
WFP seeks a VAM Officer in Aden to lead food-security, market and emergency assessments for Yemen’s humanitarian response. Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of food-security and market assessments
- Develop survey tools, sampling approaches and field protocols
- Coordinate field offices, partners, enumerators and service providers
- Manage remote surveys and monitor external data-collection providers
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data for humanitarian decision-making
- Produce assessment reports, dashboards and early-warning evidence
Role Requirements
- University degree in statistics, economics, food security, agriculture, social sciences, development studies, monitoring and evaluation, public policy, geography, data analysis or a related field
- Five years of relevant experience including one year of professional experience
- Experience in survey design, sampling, statistical analysis, data quality and large-dataset management
- English and Arabic language proficiency
