Job Description
UNCTAD seeks a full-time, unpaid intern in Geneva for its Trade in Services Section. The internship supports research on trade policy, prepares reports and communications content, helps organise meetings and training, and maintains internal information resources. Applicants must be eligible students or recent graduates in a relevant field and fluent in English; the assignment is in person.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Research international trade trends, trade policies and emerging trade-related issues
- Draft and format reports, official communications, meeting minutes and presentations
- Create web stories, news items and social-media content
- Support meetings, webinars, workshops and training sessions
- Maintain internal databases and essential data files
- Perform administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor
Role Requirements
- Enrollment in or completion of a graduate programme, or the final academic year or completion of a first university degree
- University degree in economics, international trade, statistics, international relations or a related field
- No professional work experience required
- Computer literacy in standard software applications
- Fluency in English

- Ability to interact successfully with people from different cultural backgrounds

- Unpaid full-time internship with 40 hours over five days per week
