Job Description
Delivers UNRWA technical and vocational education and training in electronics for the Damascus area. The instructor develops competency-based curricula, prepares inclusive classroom and workshop learning, assesses practical and knowledge-based skills, builds employer links and labour-market insight, and integrates safety, digital learning and green skills throughout the training cycle.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop competency-based learning programmes, curricula, profiles, guides and manuals for the electronics specialisation
- Prepare training venues and inclusive lesson plans and facilitate learning in classrooms, laboratories, workshops and workplaces
- Design formative and summative assessments, skills tests, assessment grids and inclusive implementation plans
- Build links with employers, workers and instructors and use labour-market information to identify skills gaps
- Apply UNRWA TVET quality-assurance processes across the training cycle
- Integrate green and digital skills and facilitate synchronous and asynchronous learning
- Coordinate teaching activities and implement occupational health and safety measures and incident reporting
Role Requirements
- Four-year university degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering
- No experience is required
- English and Arabic at UN Level III
- Residence in Syria within commuting distance of the duty station and authorisation to work there at application
Desired Criteria
- Registered Palestine refugee status is preferred
- Candidates of the underrepresented gender are preferred

Additional Information
- Daily Paid Assignment for up to three months, subject to funds, performance and continuing need
- One day of annual leave and one day of sick leave for each completed month of service
