Job Description

Provides specialised administrative and resource-mobilisation support to WHO/Europe's Resource Mobilization and Partnerships unit in Copenhagen. The associate serves as CEM system superuser, trains staff, guides proposal workflows, reviews funding documentation, maintains monitoring and filing systems, and coordinates correspondence, meetings, travel, procurement and workplan administration.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Act as the Regional Office superuser for the Contributor Engagement Management system and liaise with WHO headquarters
  • Give staff guidance and training on resource-mobilisation practices, procedures and CEM clearance stages
  • Guide use of standard proposal and agreement templates and maintain briefing materials and information repositories
  • Review and triage funding proposals and agreements and facilitate supporting documentation with technical units and country offices
  • Support creation of funding opportunities and correct clearance chains in CEM
  • Prepare correspondence, letters of donation, reports and workplan-management inputs
  • Arrange procurement, travel, meetings, logistics, records and administrative support for the team

Role Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent
  • At least eight years of progressively responsible administrative or office-support experience, including several years in an international environment or institution
  • Expert knowledge of English

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with WHO resource-mobilisation procedures and systems
  • Experience in WHO or the United Nations
