Job Description
Produces technical drawings and visual materials for UNRWA infrastructure and engineering work in Amman. The role prepares site surveys, architectural and engineering designs, three-dimensional presentations and detailed housing and shelter plans using AutoCAD. It supports daily operations by delivering accurate documentation, printable plans and design outputs for review by engineering teams.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare site surveys, schematic designs, concept designs and detailed architectural and engineering drawings using AutoCAD
- Prepare three-dimensional drawings, diagrams, charts and graphics for presentations
- Produce printed designs and plans for supervisory review
- Assist division heads with daily operational activities
- Produce drawings for remodelling existing buildings
- Develop detailed designs and drawings for housing and shelters
Role Requirements
- Post-secondary diploma in civil, architectural or structural engineering
- Five years of experience in AutoCAD drawing, drafting, graphic works and three-dimensional applications
- Experience using engineering-related office equipment
- Good written and spoken English and Arabic
- Jordan residence within commuting distance of Amman and authorization to work in Jordan
Desired Criteria
- Advanced knowledge of specialised aided-design software
- Knowledge of cost-effective design
- Understanding of Palestine-refugee context and UNRWA operations
