Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop clinical activities in Ebola treatment centres
- Train and mentor personnel to apply quality-care standards
- Maintain coordination with health and protection clusters
- Represent WHO in inter-cluster coordination discussions
- Develop training materials and capacity-building activities
- Contribute to humanitarian intervention plans and strategies
- Update medical-care, monitoring and evaluation tools for DRC
Role Requirements
- Degree in general medicine
- At least one year of experience in medical management of internal-medicine patients including emergency or humanitarian clinical-case management
- Excellent knowledge of French
Desired Criteria
- Master’s degree in internal medicine or similar field
- Ebola or viral-haemorrhagic-fever clinical experience
- Working knowledge of another WHO official or local language
