Summary of Responsibilities

  • Implement visibility activities for three UNESCO education-sector projects
  • Develop visibility products and outreach for project activities
  • Coordinate communications with project stakeholders and partners
  • Support visibility for TVET, social cohesion and education-plan activities

Role Requirements

  • Relevant advanced university degree and professional experience in the area of assignment
  • Fluency in Arabic is required
  • Fluency in English is required

Desired Criteria

  • Relevant professional training in strategic communication, advocacy, media production, community engagement, peacebuilding or behaviour/social change communication would be an asset
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Kassala State and/or Eastern Sudan is highly desirable
  • Experience working with UN agencies, international organizations, government institutions or development/humanitarian partners in Sudan is highly desirable
