Job Description
Supports IOM supply-chain operations by coordinating procurement, supplier engagement, logistics and asset-management activities. The role strengthens purchasing plans, documentation, fleet and facility support, contract tracking and inter-agency coordination, while guiding junior staff and helping the office obtain quality goods and services at the right time and price.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities, including purchase requests, bidding processes, purchase orders and supplier payments
- Develop procurement plans and support negotiations and delivery issue resolution
- Guide requisitioners on specifications, procurement instructions and procedures
- Identify and evaluate suppliers and service providers
- Track contracts, agreements, procurement plans and schedules
- Coordinate supply-chain activities for property, assets, warehousing, insurance, maintenance and transportation
- Plan fleet activities and monitor fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
- Train and supervise junior supply-chain staff
Role Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field with four years of relevant professional experience, or a high school diploma with six years
- Fluency in English and Portuguese, oral and written
Desired Criteria
- Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Experience with IOM or UN Procurement and Logistics Rules and Procedures
- Experience in an international organisation in a multi-cultural setting
